A little peek into my life

29 January 2014

Oh gosh, it's almost... what? My birthday. say what? My 18th birthday. 1 February it is. I'm almost a young adult, me being an "adult". Nah. It still feels like i'm 12 years old. The time flies by, in no time you're just like me sitting here like: "What... is it 2014 already?" "What, am I 18 already?". People are asking what you want to do in the future, when you get your driver license, or when you're gonna have an appartment. Well, I don't really know. "What will you be in 5 years." asked my teacher, my answer was: "Maybe am I catlady with 100 cats, or am I a homeless person." Hey, I don't know! We had to make two things about this topic. In "things" I mean, 2 graphic products. The first thing that we had to make was Typographing the sentence "What will I be in 5 years" (Dutch). The second thing was to answer the question, and you could do whatever you want. A moodboard, photoshop yourself with million euros or other creative stuff. This is what I made:

Wondering what my answer was, or what I made? I have an appartment in a cool neighbourhood, with an awesome car in the front of my house. I'm still studying, i'm travelling and seeing the world. I'm married with my boyfriend Michael, and I have a cute child. But i'm still doing my hobbies like drawing, sewing and designing in my spare time or even.. my work! A busy life right?

It's just like now, but i'm way older and living my dream basically. Doing what I like and with the person I love. Happily after. Or not? What will it be. That's the cool thing about the future. You can fantasize about everything in the world. But will you get it? That's up to you, what you're doing right now. So, it's basically doing your best on school and do what you like. They say: Hard work pays off. And it is.

WHY

25 January 2014

Blue Monday was horrible, yes. It was pretty much the darkest Monday ever, for this blog. Maybe it was a sign, a new year with new posts and stuff? Maybe. I can ask myself a million times "WHY?", just like this tee.  But it won't solve a thing. I couldn't get it back. And I won't try anymore, let me just make new posts with new pictures right. The past won't matter, maybe a little. But the present is more important, because you never know what will happen. That's maybe also a cool thing about life.

Enjoy your weekend my loves. Unlike me, laying in bed all day and being sick. Blehh.

I thought this outfit fits my confusion and everything perfectly.

Biggest mistake

20 January 2014

Dear readers,

I made the biggest mistake ever. I deleted all my pictures on my google account, I thought that the pictures would stay on my blog. But I was wrong, every single picture is gone. I'm trying to get it back, but I can't get everything back. I tried to, but it's gone forever. So I have to upload every single one all over again, the ones that I still have. Wish me luck.

Heavy spender? It's time for some change!

9 January 2014

New year resolutions, are nothing for you? Well, you can always save bits by bits. I'm also not a real new year resolution person. But saving some money does no harm right? I got some little tips that can help your new year. New year = More money!

It's harder than you think
- Don't spend more money than that you have, you may think: "God isn't that obvious?". It's harder than you may think. You can simply spend more money, you can even forget how much you actually spend. Maybe at shopping, clubbing, or just hanging out with your friends. Simple things can also costs a lot of money, "Oh, it's just for this one time. I can treat myself at this, and that." and so it goes. And then you forget how much you actually spend. Think twice before you spend your hard working money.

Work is money!
- Are you bored, scrolling forever on your never ending Tumblr Dashboard? Checking all your favorite webshops everyday? Wanting that hot item that's on sale? Don't hesitate, working pays off. If you work more, you get more! Don't waste your time on being bored. Search for some work, maybe in the weekends or the holidays. You'll never know!

Clean warderobe
- Maybe is it time for a clean warderobe, this is a really good tip for every fashionista that has many clothes she doesn't even wear. Just pick items you don't wear anymore and sell it on Facebook, Ebay or other sellingsites. There are a lot nowadays. So take your chance and earn some money of it.

Goals everywhere
- Goals are your best friend, always wanted to go to Paris? Save some money for it. You want your drivers license? Save some money for it. Take a cute little pot from your kitchen (or thriftshop) and use it as a pot to save your money for you goal. It can be every week or month.  Don't take any money from it, not even once. You can just put 5 euro, 20 euro, maybe more. If you have some left put it in there. And later on you have more than you think. The more the closer, just think about your goal. If you have motivation in something you can do it.

Food
- Take your own food to your work/school. Don't spend your money on the cafeteria or local supermarket. It can save a lot! Just wake up a little earlier and make your own food. Fruit is always good.

Manage your stuff
- It's really important to know how much you spend. Always take your ticket when spending, so you can check in the end how much damage it is. Sometimes it shocks me after shopping, i'm like: "I didn't spend that much, I need to get on my path. And then it happens again." Why taking your ticket after buying stuff? Because you can't see it on your bank account how much you spend, when and where. So you have to do it like the olds chool way. Just buy a cute notebook for it, so you won't lose it. In the end of the month you can see how much you spend and how much you had. Calculate a little and see how much you have left, you can save it for your awesome goals.

Black leather boots

4 January 2014

A few weeks ago, Sara from the webshop: Sammydress.com contacted me.
Sammydress is a leading Chinese online wholesale supplier, which offers the latest fashion styles and trends at the lowest wholesale prices directly to costumers all over the world.

I never bought something on this website to be honest, I saw a few reviews before I got these awesome boots. Some said that the website was scam, because of the long shipping or that the items were never received. I had some few issues with choosing what product I wanted to review, there were so many cool items on the site. And a lot were not in my size or out of stock. But i'm really happy with these boots, it fits pretty well even if the shoe sizes are smaller than "normal". My shoe size is 36. I got my order within 1-2 weeks, and I also had a tracking code so I could check where my package was. My first experience with Sammydress is good! So I really recommend this website.
