What a hectic week, and it's still not over yet. Two days ago I went outside with my tripod, remote controller and my camera! Plus a bunch of different outfits and shoes, the day before the shoot I decided I wanted to photograph some outfits I never photographed before. For example this pink babygirl look, i've been wearing this for two years maybe? But I didn't took any pictures of it, now I thought okay! I need to do shoot it, otherwise it won't ever happen haha. I also styled a lot of other outfits for the coming weeks.

I'm happy I shot these photos in the beginning of the week, because I also have a lot of other things to do. I'm still working on my graduation project, and hopefully I can finish the portraits soon. I have to edit the colors and retouch a bit so all the backgrounds will align. It's more work than I thought, and I also still have to create the logo. I asked my followers on Instagram what name I should pick for the game. It's going to be: "Guess Who? Asian Edition". I thought it would be like that, because that was also the first name I had in mind myself.

I also asked on Instagram if I should cut my hair, because in my opinion it's too long now and I don't really like the color that much anymore. But I have to wait until I can dye my hair again, because now it's so stressed out with all the coloring and bleaching. My hair needs some rest, and I don't want my hair to fall out.

Back to the outfit: pink is my favorite color because it makes me really happy. It's a happy color and wearing an all pink outfit lifts my mood as well. I feel good in this color! I also haven't bought any clothes these past few months. I like to get inspiration from other clothing stores and their collections. I want to recreate some stuff and recycle fabric! Hopefully I can do that after I graduate, because yes it's hectic as hell!

Today it’s the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia. It was created in 2004 to draw the attention to the violence and discrimination experienced by lesbian, gay, bisexuals, transgender, intersex people and all other people with diverse sexual orientations, gender identities or expressions, and sex characteristics.

The date of May 17th was specifically chosen to commemorate the World Health Organization’s (WHO) decision in 1990 to declassify homosexuality as a mental disorder. It’s been only 30 years! To this day it’s still a huge taboo, and yes also in the Asian community. There are still so many topics we can’t talk about.

If you read in Dutch: “De Bananengeneratie” by Pete Wu is a really nice book. I’m also in it! In a lot of countries it’s not possible to marry who you love. I realised it’s a privilege that you can walk around with the one you love, be with the person(s) you want to be. It makes really sad that people can’t just be who they are. We still have a long way to go to make the world a more inclusive place. Accept no one's definition of your life: define yourself.

We should all be able to love who you want to love, without anyone screaming like you can’t. We should all be able to be themselves, without anyone judging. Power to all of the people who are openly gay, they are living and writing the history of the LGBTQ+ community! Love is love.

This dress has these big mesh floral sleeves which are pretty puffy. I love the look of the dress, it's perfect for an event. The sleeves look elegant and the dress is tight, it fits on my body but it's pretty hard to put it on. I can't wear the dress for a long time myself since it itches, my skin can't handle it very well unfortunately. I really like the style!

I styled the dress with a pearl heart choker and also heart earrings I made for Shop Chokers.

I feel like i'm in the year 2040 or something when wearing this kind of tight dress and this color. But I don't really like the dress without the styling, it looks plain and really simple. The material isn't really comfortable for my skin either. It feels very synthetic and it really hugs my skin, but it's irritating. I also picked size UK6 (XS), which fits nicely. If you pull the strings up, it makes the dress shorter and i'm not that comfortable in wearing a dress this short.

The material and model of this dress is super nice and comfortable. It's such a soft and silky feeling. I don't know how to knot it like the picture in the example. I thought the dress would look weird on me because of my body shape, but it's alright.

It's also good to wear seamless underwear underneath these kind of dresses, so you won't see the seamline. The material is not really thick, so you have to wear something over it.

Yay it's monday! I hope you all had a great weekend and enjoyed the lovely weather. I got my second order from Femme Luxe Finery, and this time the package came in ever faster than the first one! I'm happy to try this Wine Bardot Cowl Neck Ruched Midi Dress, they have this in several colours but this bordeaux/wine looked very pretty. It's UK size 6, the dress fits very well but the top part is slipping down a lot for me. I love the material which is very comfortable and it feels soft on the skin. It also has a nice design, I love the ruches on it, very detailed. I went for a dark look with the platform boots and the choker. It's also possible to make the look more chic and wear heels with it! How would you style it?

I picked this Camel lounge set with a cropped top, the size I chose is S/M from Femme Luxe Finery. I'm around 160 cm, and I usually wear size 34 of XS. The top is quite small and the pants fits perfectly, if it's smaller it wouldn't fit this nicely. I don't really like the material since it's very synthetic. You also see your underwear through the pants at the back since it's quite a thin fabric and tight. I would wear tight underwear when wearing these jogger pants. If you don't have size 34 or XS I wouldn't buy this piece since it's really small to be size S/M. I like that the outfit is very comfortable to wear and perfect for hanging out at home and in this weather.

This pink glitter velvet dress is bright and so cute! The velvet dress has small diamonds all over it, which is a super cute detail. For this dress I also picked XS which fitted me perfectly. I went for a cute look with different colors.

I'm sad that I can't wear these outfits more often outside since we have to stay inside as much as possible. Hopefully I can wear and style new outfits soon.

This royal blue bodycon dress is a piece I really wanted to try this since it has a nice ruches on the side. I've never owned such a dress before, and I really like how it fits me. The length is really nice, it's not too much and you can wear it with cute tops underneath it to create more layers. Blue is also a color I don't own in my closet, so it's a nice switch. They have this dress also in a lot of different colors. The only thing I don't like about this dress is that the front part falls down, so you have to take care of that.

The fabric of this dress is really nice and it feels very silky and soft. It feels good on the skin and it's comfortable to wear exept for the front part. :)

Last Tuesday I could pick some items from Femme luxe finery, which is a webshop based in United Kingdom. They also have a shop based in the United States.

This blue denim dress is my favorite piece from the items I picked. My size XS (Size 6) wasn't available so I picked S (Size 8), the dress looked a bit over sized. When the package came in after a week I was surprised of the quality. I also got a tracking number so I could see where my package was. The dress fitted perfectly for me, i'm 160 cm. It looks exactly like the picture, and I love the pockets all over it! Very handy if you don't want to take a purse with you.

It is also my outfit for my speech for 3 May: The national day of empathy (The Netherlands). I'm really happy I could be a part of their online event. It will be shown on AT5 3 May 2020 this sunday in Dutch, on their Facebook page from 15:15.
