The 70's trend came back this spring. The denim and suede button front A line skirt has been spotted everywhere. I saw the shops:
Top Shop,
Asos,
H&M and
Forever21 already followed this trend.
But how do you wear this trend? Here are some examples from the stylists from the shops.
I also created 5 different outfits with the button front A line skirt, with different materials and colors.
BEACH PLEASE.
This outfit is really casual. Just an easy daily look, you don't have to think a lot about this outfit. Just throw a comfy sweater on. For this outfit I picked this dark washed button up front A line skirt from Miss Selfridge. You can pick your own jewerly as you like. A statement piece, or minimalistic ones.
DENIM ON DENIM.
You can totally handle this look, or you just can't. But I always say: just wear whatever you want because who cares! You live for yourself and not for others. So don't please other people, but only you. Only if you feel comfortable in the outfit, you can rock it! Be confident and bold.
EX BOYFRIEND TEARS.
I just love the name of this outfit, or the can. It's so funny, and just an extra to this outfit. Otherwise I don't know how to call this outfit. I really like the brown colored suède button front A line skirt. It looks really nice, and you can wear it with a lot of things. For this outfit, I went for a beachy jungle look. I couldn't find a jungle printed bag, so I picked this pillow.
FEMINIST.
You don't have to be a feminist to wear this outfit. I just like the necklace, it's so cool and original. The 90's vibe is just coming out of it. I picked some darker and softer colors for this outfit. I think that the burgundy bag really compliments the top and skirt. Everything is a bit on the softer side, and the shoes makes a statement because of the contrast.
NICE TO MEET YOU.
When i'm creating outfits for these posts, I always have one or more black and white outfits.
I picked the Top Shop's black denim A-line skirt for this outfit. It's a bit a back to the 70's and 90's mix.
